Little Fighter 2: Weapons Guide

Little Fighter 2: Weapons Guide

Weapons Guide on Little Fighter 2
Little Fighter 2 contains a large variety of different weapons, which are used for many purposes. The weapons are divided into 3 major groups:
Light Weapons - most of the fighters can throw them very far away, it is easy to run with them and they are very small. None of the Light Weapons can break defense by throwing them on the opponent. The Light Weapons have the biggest amount of combos.
Normal Weapons - all the weapons with shapes like a sword, baseball bat, and scythe. These weapons can not be thrown to a great distance, but they are still very destructive. The Normal Weapons can perform lesser combos except the Ice Sword, which is very useful.
Heavy Weapons - weapons for throwing only. The Light Weapons and the Normal Weapons are held in one hand, so the fighter can jump and perform attacks while he uses them. The Heavy Weapons have a great weight, and the fighter needs both hands to carry them. Therefore they slow him down and he can not use any of his attacks.

There is another type of weapons, which this guide will no deal with. It is Built-In Weapons. These are weapons that are an inseparable part of a fighter, such as Deep's sword, Henry's bow, the sword of the knights, Rudolf's ninja stars and so on. Since these weapons are related to specific fighters, this guide will not discuss them at great length.

Throwing Strength
An important index which you should understand before we start: Throwing Strength - it is possible to throw every one of the weapons, but each fighter has his own Throwing Strength. The Throwing Strength depends on the muscles hands of the fighters, and not on the speed of the running or something else. Fighters with bigger Throwing Strength will be able to throw weapons further and faster, with shorter response time. The time from the moment you press the key until the fighter throws the weapon.

Few ways for examining the Throwing Strength of a fighter
- The Throwing Strength stands out the most in the Heavy Weapons, and in the time takes the fighter to pick it up. When the enemy gets close to you, and you want to block him with a stone, you have to consider the Throwing Strength of your fighter. If it is too weak, it will take you too much time to pick up the stone and the enemy might strikes you down before you will manage to throw it. Therefore, the fighter will not throw the weapon to a great distance.
- Fighters who pick up the weapons quickly have a bigger Throwing Strength and will be able to throw it very far away. Fighters with big Throwing Strength can throw Light Weapons like a ball or a knife in blazing speed. Fighters with a very big Throwing Strength for example: Mark, Knight, Julian. Then Fighters with very weak Throwing Strength: Jan, Bandit, Monk.
- Another way to examine the Throwing Strength is the relative speed of the fighter while he runs with a Heavy Weapon. If he runs almost the same as he used to run without holding a weapon it shows that it is easy to him and he has a great Throwing Strength.

Weapon Breakdown
Light Weapons
Boomerang
The boomerang is a weapon which from the moment you throw it, it will follow the enemy in order to hurt him. It is possible to compare it to the chasing blasts of Dennis, and in a lot of cases you can use the boomerang in combos instead the chasing blast. It is very difficult to avoid getting hit from the boomerang with a counter hit because it generally comes from weird angles, but it is very easy to block it with defense since it is part of the Light Weapons group, and therefore it does not break defense or comes near breaking. The boomerang is the weapon that can reach the biggest distance, due to its homing ability even more far than a knife, although the boomerang is heavier. The boomerang is one of the most usable weapons for combos. It can strike down the opponent in two regular hits without throwing it.

Knife
The lightest weapon in the game. It has enormous speed while throwing, and sometimes it is hard to evade it because you do not have enough time to pay it attention (especially when it is thrown by a fighter with a great Throwing Strength). Due to its lightness, it is very useful for ending combos, for the final hit that the fighter alone does not have even a chance to do. It brings down the opponent in two regular hits.

Bottles
There are two kinds of bottles - a milk bottle and a beer bottle. The milk bottle restores your health and heals your injuries, and the beer bottle increases your mana. But besides the drinks inside the bottles, you can use the bottles in many other ways! The bottle is the prefect weapon to fold the enemy in a good and fast move. The bottle is also a very springy and light item, so it is possible to use it for combos. Be careful when you throw the bottle though - the enemy can return it back to you with a hit. It is not possible to hit an opponent with the bottles, throwing or drinking only.

Ball
Like the bottles, it is very springy and even has less weight. This fact increases greatly the number of combos it can be used for, compared to the bottles. It can also fold the enemy easily, but be careful not to get it back to your face. The ball is the only weapon which is thrown just by pressing the attack button.

It is not possible to hit with the ball - as it was written before, you can only throw it. Pay attention: A. Bottles and balls can be thrown while performing dash (double jump). Other light and normal weapons can be thrown in dash only by very few fighters. B. Bottles, balls and knives belong to the Light Weapons group, and therefore can not break defense. Use it! You can stop a knife or a quick ball zooming forward you by just pressing the defense button.

Normal Weapons
Baseball Bat
Davis, Deep and Woody can use a lot of the weapons almost in any state (dashes, high jumps, throwing and so on, and after it perform an attack), and they can use that weapon in the same ways. But do not dread, a whole lot of other fighters can perform quite enough combo attacks as well. The baseball bat brings down the opponent in two regular hits. It is recommended to use the baseball bat in close combats, only if you know the right place to hit the enemy with it. Either way, it will bother you and may cause you to be caught off guard. The weight of the weapon is medium, and it is not thrown far away by most of the fighters. The baseball bat is the best weapon to punch back the ball, and when it does so you hear a cool and unique sound

Scythe
Very similar to the baseball bat, but brings down the opponent in one hit only. The scythe causes a lot of damage to the enemy and its attacks are powerful and difficult to stop. The scythe has the same properties like the baseball bat, but it is much heavier (you can not perform most of the combos you can do with baseball bat with the scythe too) and stronger. The scythe is the only normal weapon which can break defense if you throw it!

Ice sword
The most useful weapon in the game - it can freeze the enemy, and it can turn regular energy balls to ice balls! Only Freeze can create this weapon. Throw this sword only when you are sure it will freeze the enemy - if the sword arrives to other fighter it can give him a huge advantage, and he will be able to perform deadly combos. While you are using the sword try to confuse the opponent and make him do a wrong move, and then attack him. When the enemy is frozen there are countless amount of possible combos!

Heavy Weapons
Box
The box is intended for throwing only. Very useful item in Stage mode. The box is equal to an average fighter while he is thrown. It is very heavy, so the stronger the Throwing Strength of the fighter is, the more useful the box will become to him. While the box is on move, even on the smallest move, it is in "Attack" mode, and all those who will touch it will get a hit. Due to this property it is possible to perform with it a variety of combos. Example of one of the most deadly but simple combos that you can perform with a box is 2 hits + 5 hits + Dennis's whirlwind kick. Of course the combo is performed while the enemy is on the box, so he shakes it, and so he receives double the pain. Another two main attacks which can use the box usefully are the Sonata Of The Death (Henry's flute) and Freeze's whirlwind. You can use more attacks for combos with a box, but it is little more complicated.

Stone
The stone is exactly like the box, but it is tougher and stronger, and more difficult to break. Both the box and the stone block a path, and you have to pass them from around or jump above them.

Louis's Armor
The parts of Louis's armor are similar in their weight and behavior to the stone and the box. On the other hand, it takes 6 hits to break them, while it takes 4 hits to break the stone and 3 hits to break the box. Another difference is that you can pass through the armor, unlike the stone or the box. LouisEX is the fighter with the greatest Throwing Strength in the game, and therefore he can use the Heavy Weapons in their most efficiency. The five parts of the armor are basically heavy weapons which are not broken easily and you can throw them again and again. Extremely good weapons for LouisEX.

Weapons Tips on Little Fighter 2
- If you see a shadow at the same place you are standing, move immediately.
- It may be a stone or a box, so don't risk your life.Pay attention to the move Run + Hit. for part of the fighters it is a very destructive attack because they stay in attack mode for a long time, and sometimes even attack twice, and bring down their opponent with one hit (with all the weapons except the Heavy Weapons).
- Be aware that fighters with Built-In Weapons like a sword can stun the opponent with only 2 hits, and those who use arrows stun the opponent with a single hit.
- Many of the fighters can do dashes endlessly while holding a weapon. it can be done with every weapon of the light or normal weapons.
- Fighters with a great Throwing Strength have a huge advantage while they use the weapons: They can throw a box in Stage Mode to a great distance, so they will ensure their safety, and to hit a lot of fighters at the same time. They can throw the light and normal  weapons in huge speed and to such a far distance, that it is hard to evade them.
- Davis, Deep and Woody can use most of the weapons in a lot of cases: jump, dash, throw, throw while jumping, throw while running etc'.
Almost in all the ways to throw a weapon or attack with it, these 3 fighters can continue the assault due to their special attacks.

Little Fighter 2: Survival Stage Guide

Little Fighter 2: Survival Stage Guide

Survival Stage on Little Fighter 2
Survival Stage is basically a game in which the goal is to survive as much as you can. New enemies will continue coming, and as the levels go on, they will be tougher and harder to beat.

Setting Difficulty
The option "Difficulty" enables you to choose the intelligence level and the HP amount of the opponents. In the level 'Easy' the computer players will have about a third of the life less than the normal level. Then in the levels 'Normal' and 'Difficult' the lives of the players are the same, 100%. Finally, at the level 'Crazy' the players will have 3 times as much life than normal. Every time that the difficulty level goes up an additional assistant is added to the enemy's group. Basically meaning, If you play on 'Difficult' level, there will be 2 extra enemy assistants more than on the 'Easy' difficulty. Plus, the number of assistants also depend on the number of fighters on your team! obviously, for each fighter there is a specific number of enemy assistants, hence, for each player, you add to your team (if you and your friends play together), assistants will be added in accordance. Note that on the 'Crazy' difficulty, 2 assistants will be added, instead of on one. The number of milk bottles you get each level will be equal to the number of members in your group, so each fighter in the group gets one.
If you play on 'Crazy' level, one extra bottle will be added each time.

Bosses & Assistants
On each level in the survival mode, except a few levels, in the beginning, there are bosses and assistants. The assistants are common fighters that are weak compared to the bosses, and they continue to come as long as the boss is still alive. Meaning that until you will kill the boss, his assistants will continuously return to life. Sometimes you will even come up against more than one boss at a time.

Survival Tips on Little Fighter 2
- If one of your group members dies, but you succeed to pass the level without him, he will return to life at the beginning of the next level, with a very small amount of HP. naturally, it is recommended he drinks milk bottles immediately after being revived.
- After the boss is dead and done, you can drink your bottles without worry - the assistants will not bother you (at least in the first levels).
- When you are in trouble, use every free second you have to drink bottles. Don't assume that you can make it to the next level. This is 'Survival Mode', there is no second chance.
- Mutual cover while your partner drink bottles, attack the enemies and defend him! and if you have already killed the boss, you can just make the assistants come after you instead of him.
- Part of the enemies has a strong armor, like Julian. Take advantage of your environment and use weapons around you to break his defense. For example, the Scythe is a very effective weapon for breaking defenses.

Little Fighter 2: Character Guide

Little Fighter 2: Character Guide

Character Guide on Little Fighter 2
Deep
Deep is a dangerous fighter from short range due to his sword and other short-range attacks. One hit with his sword can do massive damage. Another one of Deep's advantages is that his sword is not considered as a part of his body, meaning, every time you try to hit him, and he hits back with his sword, his attack will win, and you will be damaged. Though Deep's advantages, his sword also makes him and his attacks heavier and slower. When fighting against Deep, we recommend you attack from the sides, and try to avoid being on his line of attack.

John
John the sorcerer is a strong offensive and defensive fighter. He is very quick, and the range of his attacks is very large. John has a variety of magic attacks that is best to know about is his Flying Disk. This special attack domesticates itself on the enemy, though it's pretty easy to fool by walking up and down. While playing with John, it is recommended to throw a disk once in a while. It confuses the enemy and takes some of his time. Then his Energy Shield can block and reflect any sorts of long-range attack in the game, such as energy balls, and earth attacks. It's a smart idea while playing John, to spread out a few shields throughout the area. This will put the enemy in a hard position to attack, and in an easy position to get hurt. John can heal himself, and his party members. so be aware, and don't let him do it often!

Henry
First and foremost, Henry's biggest disadvantage is that he is mostly a long-range fighter, Meaning, if the enemy comes close, it would be extremely easy to do serious damage on Henry, So, when playing with him, it is important to keep the enemy as far away as possible, though still in the attack range. Henry has 3 main attacks which help him in close range combat: Jumping and shooting arrows. Hitting the enemy with the arrow itself, which is done by double jumping and attacking. And his Flute playing Sonata Of Death, which makes all the enemies caught in it helpless until the attack is over. He is very effective in stage mode, against a large number of enemies.

Rudolf
Rudolf, like Henry, is mostly a long range fighter. though his quickness gives him a big advantage. Two of Rudolf's most efficient attacks are his duplication ability and his invisibility. When his HP is low, his Mana raises faster, which makes it easy to duplicate a lot, and then make himself and every other duplication invisible. Rudolf's most special attack is his transformation, which is done while holding the enemy. So When fighting him, try to get close to him so he won't duplicate, but not too close so he won't transform.

Louis
Louis's biggest advantage is also his biggest disadvantage - his armor. Though it gives him a lot of defense, it also makes him slow and heavy. When fighting him, try not to get to close so he won't catch you, which will do serious damage, but also, don't get in his line of attack, because of his earth attack. It is recommended to engage Louis in a close range fist fight. you will probably win, because of his slowness. His jumps are high and far, excellent for dodging. When Louis's HP goes below 33%, he is able to turn into LouisEX! Louis throws off his shield, and becomes the fastest character in the game! Defeat him quickly, or he will defeat you.

Firen
Firen is the fire user fighter. His normal attacks are only decent, but his special attacks are exceptionally strong. They can hurt several enemies in a single attack. Be careful not to get near a burned team member, or you will get burnt as well. His fire walking attack, Inferno, leaves a trail of fire behind him, that can still hit the enemy if there's contact, So be sure to leave a trail of fire near the enemy when playing with him. His most powerful attack is his fire explosion that blows up every enemy in the area, But keep in mind, the explosion takes some HP from Firen as well. If it gets canceled or it misses, it's a waste of both hp and mp.

Freeze
Freeze is the ice user fighter. Most of Freeze's attacks freeze his enemies. When frozen, a fighter is paralyzed for a few seconds, which gives Freeze enough time to calculate and perform a strong combo attack, So when fighting him, be very careful not to get hit by any of his freezing attacks. Another one of Freeze's biggest advantages is the fact that when an energy ball of any kind comes his way and, he counter attacks that energy ball with an ice ball, Not only does the enemy energy ball stops, and starts going the opposite direction, but also, the energy ball becomes an ice ball, Meaning, now two ice balls are heading your way! Be careful not to make the mistake of sending him a lot of energy balls, Because then you will be facing a mob of ice balls heading your way! Although these advantages, Freeze's ice ball is very slow compared to other energy balls, so it's easy to dodge. Another one of Freeze's strong attacks is his ice sword summon, In this case, Freeze summons a special sword that freezes every enemy that is hit by it. Be careful though not to get hit and lose it, because then your enemy can pick it up and freeze you!

Dennis
Dennis is a very fast fighter. Most of his attacks are made by kicking the enemy with his legs. Be careful not to let him catch you, or you will be on the verge of a very powerful combo attack. Dennis can send a powerful and fast energy balls that chase the enemy for a while, It's very hard to dodge it, so when playing with him, be sure to send an energy ball, and then go on the offensive, This will distract the enemy for a few seconds, giving you a chance to perform a powerful attack. When Dennis performs his Whirlwind Kick, be sure to run and stay away from his line of attack, Because while he is attacking, all of your attacks are futile, and all of your energy balls will just go back and attack you.

Woody
Woody can perform a deadly combo attack out of almost any situation. So, it is very important to remember while fighting against him, to never let your guard down! If he catches you, if you get hit by his kicks, if you're not ready when he teleports himself to you, it is most likely you will be seriously damaged. While playing with him, try catching the enemy using his swiftness and fast jumps. If you succeed, you can perform a deadly combo attack. Woody had two kinds of teleport attacks: The first, to an ally. The second, to the enemy. It is a good idea to teleport yourself to the enemy and back once in a while to confuse him. The Flip Kick is a great move that costs zero mp and enables Woody to do a quick roll or dash attack to either escape or try to combo an enemy too.

Davis
Davis is a very good hand-to-hand fighter, who specialize in punches. Davis's attacks are extremely fast, especially his Dragon Punch, that can block any attack if activated at the right time. His energy balls move up and down carelessly, which are easy to block, but they're more for distracting the enemy anyway. The best time to use them is against several enemies, or in close range. When fighting him, try not to get too close to him, or he will catch you easily and perform his combo punch attack. A low HP Davis that regains mp fast and uses Dragon Punch a lot can be difficult to beat.

Basic Combat
Once you are used to your character's movements, move on to attacking training! Step close to your opponent, and hit Attack! This will execute a quick punch to your enemy. Notice that when an opponent is hit, he will be stunned for a short moment. While he is stunned, give'im another couple of punches. After two or three hits, your opponent should look twisted in pain, which will stun him a bit longer.

If an opponent is to approach you, you can defend yourselves. Watch the timing, then hit your Defense key just before he could hit you. This might need a few tries, so keep trying. It's a good idea to counterattack your opponent with your special move since it can be quickly executed. But watch it, trying to guard too many punches will make you walk backward, which you are completely defenseless! This state is called Broken defend. This will stun you shortly, and you will not be able to move while have broken defend, so try to avoid this from happening. Also, unlike in a typical fighting game, hitting Defense key will make you defend for about a second, and you will not be able to cancel it, even if you release the key. The best thing to do is, rather than just trying to get away from enemy attacks, to try to counterattack your enemy after defending.

Special Moves
What's a fighting game without a special move? In Little Fighter 2, almost all character have some sort of Special Moves. As for the basic thing, most special moves are executed by the command form of Defend + Direction + Attack or Jump or Defend + Jump + Attack. Remember this, as you will be able to find out the special move combination even for the characters you haven't used before. Each time you cast special moves, it will consume some MP.

HP & MP
The top red bar is your health. Obviously, it will decrease when you are hit. Your health will restore slowly as time passes. However, we would like you to notice that every time you get hit, the dark red bar decreases as well. The bright red bar is your actual, current health. Only this bright red bar counts your character's life, and will directly decrease by incoming damage. The dark red bar is your health limit, and you will only be allowed to heal up to your remaining health limit. This bar will only take about 50% of the damage dealt on the bright red bar.

But don't worry, your health limit can be recovered by drinking a milk! So if you are really at risk of low HP, the best way to survive is to find a milk and drink it immediately. Alternatively, when you finish a section of a Stage Mode, you will gain some health limit bonus, giving you a boost to your life. Also, some attacks (throwings, Henry's Sonata of the Death, etc.) does not damage the health limit. Firen's Explosion move will steal some health when executed, but this will not affect your health limit.

The bottom blue bar is your mana. You will consume your MP by using your special moves. Like the health, MP will heal automatically as time passes, but since there is no limit to your MP, you can always heal your MP to 100%. MP heals relatively slowly, so once your bar is gone, you will have to wait for some moments until you can use your special moves again. However, if your health is low, your MP will heal more quickly. This will allow you to use your special moves more frequently. Lower your health is, more quickly your MP heals. But don't forget that it also means you are in danger of death, so watch out for it!

Miscellaneous Actions
Running
Tap right or left twice. (Take a step, stop, then walk again) It allows you to move around the stage more quickly. Many actions can be linked to running, which makes it a very tactical move than it looks like. Walk to the other direction to stop running.

Evade
Hit Defense key while running or after landing. While evading, you will be immune from damages. Some special moves can cancel and be executed when evading. You can also pick up an item by hitting Attack key at the right timing. You will need some time to stand up, so put that in your mind. Knight cannot use this action.

Running Attack
Hit Attack key while running. A powerful punch will hurt your enemy. Woody and Dennis can combo this attack by hitting Attack key again. Louis will execute the Thunder Punch special move, and Julian his Soul Charge move.

Dash (Running Jump)
Hit Jump key while running or after landing. This jump has higher speed than the plain one. You are able to execute a Dash attack by hitting the Attack key. Together with the low jumping ark and the adequate damage, Dash attack is an excellent move to commit a hit and run. Hunter and Henry will be able to shoot backward. Louis will execute the Thunder Punch special move.

Aerial Attack
Hit Attack key while airborne. Most often used as an air-to-ground attack, this can help you to go for the first strike. Remember that when you land during the action, you will not be able to evade, dash, etc.

Grab
Walk toward the stunned opponent. While grabbing, you can pummel him (up to about five times), and throw him away. A grabbed character can be hurt even by friendly characters, so don't try. Instead, you can free him by attacking the grabber. This action will be canceled after a duration of time has elapsed.

Throw
While grabbing, hold left or right and hit Attack key. You can damage not only the guy that has been thrown but also other enemies who got hit by the thrown body. The defender can avoid further damage by executing the breakfall (see below).

Breakfall
Hit Jump key while falling down. By doing so, you can avoid falling down and make a quick action after landing. You are immune to damage until you land, but is possible to get hit after landing. Evading and dashing is an effective way to avoid pursue attacks.

Energy Reflect
The attack on the energy blasts. You can reflect your opponent's energy blast, flying back toward him. This can hurt the person who used the energy blast, but the timing is somewhat tough. Some energy blasts are not reflectable. Jan, Knight, and Firzen can reflect energy blasts simply by defending.
