List of Abilities on Garen
Perseverance (Passive)
Description: Garen regenerates 2 / 8 % maximum health (based on level 1 / 11) every 5 seconds if he has not taken non-minion damage in the last 9 / 4 seconds. Regeneration increased to 4 / 16 % maximum health every 5 seconds while below 25 / 50 % (based on level 1 / 11) of his maximum health. At level 11, damage from non-epic monsters will no longer stop Perseverance.

- Perseverance is a self-targeted buff.

Decisive Strike (Q)
Description: Garen cleanses himself of all slows affecting him and gains 30% bonus movement speed for a few seconds. Additionally, his next basic attack within 4.5 seconds deals additional physical damage and silences his target for 1.5 seconds. Decisive Strike resets Garen's auto attack timer.

Duration: 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 3 / 3.5
Bonus Physical Damage: 30 / 55 / 80 / 105 / 130 + 40% AD

Additional Information
- Decisive Strike is a self-targeted buff with an on-hit effect component.
- The enhanced attack will apply other on-hit effects and can critically strike as normal.
- As with most on-hit physical damage, Decisive Strike's bonus damage will apply life steal.
- It will affect structures.
- It will be consumed and have no effect if the enhanced attack is dodged, blocked, or if it misses.
- Spell shields will block the enhanced attack.
- Decisive Strike has no cast time and does not interrupt Garen's previous orders.
- The on-hit effect and the bonus movement speed are independent. (Garen can silence his target and the bonus movement speed will remain, duration permitting)

Courage (W)
Description: Garen permanently gains 0.25 bonus armor and bonus magic resistance every time he kills an enemy unit, up to a maximum of 30 bonus resistances. Garen reduces incoming damage by 60% and has 60% tenacity for the first 0.75 seconds. For the rest of the duration, Garen reduces incoming damage by 30%.

Additional Information
- Courage is a self-targeted buff.
- Courage has no cast time and does not interrupt Garen's previous orders.
- Garen needs to kill 120 enemy units to gain the maximum bonus resistances once Courage is ranked up at least once.
- Courage's passive is retroactive.
- Courage's active does not reduce true damage.


Judgment (E)
Description: Garen rapidly spins his sword around his body for 3 seconds. For the duration, Garen cannot basic attack, is Ghost ghosted and deals physical damage in 5 - 10 (based on level) spins to enemies within range, increased by 33.3% when damaging a single enemy. Judgment can critically strike, dealing 50% AD × (1 + bonus critical strike damage) increased damage. Enemy champions hit 4 times have their armor reduced by 25% for 6 seconds. Hits after the 4th refresh the duration of the debuff. After 1 second, Garen can reactivate Judgment to cancel it immediately, reducing its cooldown by its remaining duration.

Physical Damage Per Spin: 14 / 18 / 22 / 26 / 30 + 36 / 37 / 38 / 39 / 40% AD

Additional Information
- Judgment is a point-blank area of effect.
- Applies spell effects as an area of effect ability.
- Spell vamp is reduced to one-third effectiveness.
- Rylai's Crystal Scepter will apply a 20% slow for 1 second.
- Spell shields will not block the ability.
- Judgment is not a channeled ability so crowd control effects will not be interrupting.
- Silencing Garen will prevent him from reactivating it early.
- Garen will benefit from Decisive Strike's slow removal and bonus movement speed while Judgment is active.
- He will not be able to apply its on-hit silence or bonus damage since he cannot basic attack over Judgment's duration.
- Garen may cast Demacian Justice while Judgment is active but it will stop ticking if so.

Demacian Justice (R)
Description: The enemy with the most kills in the last 5 minutes is marked as the Villain. The mark cannot be assigned to another champion while Garen is in combat with the Villain. If more than one enemy has the same bounty, the enemy who received it first is marked as the Villain. Garen's basic attacks and each spin of Judgment against the Villain deal 1% of their maximum health as bonus true damage. Garen calls upon the might of Demacia to attempt to execute the target enemy champion, dealing them magic damage, converted to true damage when targeting the Villain.

- Demacian Justice is a single-targeted ability.
- Applies spell effects as a single target ability.
- Spell vamp is fully applied.
- Rylai's Crystal Scepter will apply a 20% Slow icon slow for 1 second.
- Magic damage will be mitigated by magic shields.
- Spell shields will block the ability.
- The tooltip displays damage values as simple digits rather than percentages that deals 1 additional damage per 3.5 / 3 / 2.5 target's missing health.
- Kills against Garen will not be considered when determining the Villain.
- Villains that can be executed by this spell, will have their Villain icon highlighted.
