Walkthrough Guide on Sons of Guns
The strategy for Sons of Guns is very straightforward. Your objective is to gather large amount of money in the shortest amount of time. Basically, you will start off the game by purchasing one Tier 1 Loot. Slowly work your way to buy another two Tier 2 Loot, then Two Tier 4 Loot. Sell away your Tier 1 & 2 Loot items for Tier 5 Loot, remember to upgrade your pathetic Tier 1 Gun to Tier 5 Gun too. This build is overpowered as heck because you will earn so much money very quickly even before you realize. At this point of time, focus on dodging any incoming projectiles, bullets and avoid going near the bombs. Once you have around 20k-30k gold, sell three Tier 5 Loots for one Tier 5 Speed and two Tier 5 Armor. You should survive Stage 2 without much problem now. However, if you are struggling, there is one neat trick to replenish your health by simply selling and buying the Tier 5 Armor. Once you reached Stage 3, respawn your troops then sell away your Tier 5 Loot for Tier 5 Armor. The Boss in Stage 3 is quite confusing but actually is very straightforward. The attacking pattern is Left, Down, Right, Up. You can simply circle around the boss clockwise. Or, you can just stand roughly at the center and let your troops auto attack, heal them when needed.

Agar.io: Types of Players

Agar.io: Types of Players

Types of Players on Agar.io
All Modes
Splitters
Splitters are everywhere, they are annoying players who try to eat smaller cells by splitting themselves with the space bar.
Advantages: They gain mass exponentially.
Disadvantages: But a split fails to kill, they become very vulnerable.
How to tell: If someone is split into two separate versions of themselves, one is slightly bigger than the other; These players are usually better than the average player.

Corner Lurkers
Corner Lurkers are less common players who try to eat smaller cells by hiding near a corner, and then trapping them.
Advantages: They can easily fool a smaller cell in a corner.
Disadvantages: They can also easily get trapped in a corner from another larger cell.
How to tell: A player will attempt to bait you into the blank void using "W" mass. Therefore be alert near corners.

Followers
Followers are very annoying players who chase after cells usually slightly smaller than them until they are trapped.
Advantages: They are less of a target for other cells.
Disadvantages: They do not gain mass comparatively quickly, and chasing a cell in 2 pieces can cause the opponent cell to merge and chase them back.
How to tell: It is very obvious to see a cell following another slightly smaller cell.

Virus Shooters
Virus Shooters are less common but dangerous players who try to split larger cells by shooting a virus with "W".
Advantages: If they succeed, they can gain lots of mass.
Disadvantages: If they fail, they have wasted some of their mass, and may hit the virus themselves. Indeed, a double edged sword.
How to tell: Most of the time, a 300-ish cell will be staying behind a virus looking for targets. Successful Virus shooters can shoot with any number of cells and split to shoot a virus. They can also be better than an average player.

FFA Mode
Leaderboard Cells
Leaderboard Cells are the large cells that are on the leaderboard and usually go after other leaderboard cells.
Advantages: Their size is some form of protection.
Disadvantages: They are more of a target for other leaderboard cells and virus shooters. The hunter became hunted.
How to tell: Their name is featured on the leaderboard.

Alliance Cells
Alliance Cells are cells that team up with other cells, feeding each other back and forth as necessary to eat cells.
Advantages: Too many to list down; Mainly for climbing the leaderboard.
Disadvantages: Hated by most players, and get hunted. The Anti Team Penalty can also hit them, so watch out for them.
How to tell: If two cells are staying a relatively close distance and not attacking each other, they are very likely to be a team.

Grazers
Grazers are rarer players who try to avoid other cells as much as possible, and only intentionally eat pellets.
Advantages: Since they try to stay away from other cells, they are quite safe.
Disadvantages: They gain mass very slowly.
How to tell: If someone seems to be ignoring or moving away from smaller cells, even if they could have eaten them.

Bait Trappers
Bait Trappers are less common players that try to lure other cells closer to them by using one blob of mass as bait.
Advantages: They can quickly take unsuspecting cells by surprise.
Disadvantages: they often fall victim to bigger cells that also get baited, and most skilled players know it's bait by now.
How to tell: If there is a single blob of mass in the middle of nowhere, most of the time it is a bait nearby. Bigger cell pre-aim at the blob, when you appear, gone!

Suicide Cells
Suicide cells are weird players that, for some unknown reason, commit suicide by running into a larger cell. They might be bots too, it very hard to tell.
Advantages: None.
Disadvantages: Dies multiple times and they get a lot of hate.
How to tell: You will tend to see a small cell feeding itself to a larger cell seemingly on purpose.

Teams Mode
Bait Cells
Bait Cells are smaller cells who circle around large cells on the same team to lure cells on a different team closer.
Advantages: Since they stay close to a large cell, they are usually fairly safe.
Disadvantages: They can get eaten, although the big player can get mass, you'll die. They also get little to no mass.
How to tell: A smaller cell seems to be trying to stay a safe distance from you, but not going out of your sight.

Feeders
Feeders are team players that usually collect around 50 - 300 mass, and then feed it to a larger teammate.
Advantages: If they get eaten, they do not have much to lose.
Disadvantages: If the teammate that they have been feeding is not a very good player, then they are out of luck.
How to tell: You will notice someone feeding a larger player on the same team to gain size quickly.

Cross-Teamers
Cross-Teamers are either suicide cells or feeders that feed a different team than the one that they are on.
Advantages: They can avoid confrontation with their team but can eat players in their team.
Disadvantages: They are hated by many players and kill their teammates, this means they can't make a turnaround or stay on domination. Due to them getting hit by the Anti Team Penalty, all unlucky players "waste" their mass because of the penalty.
How to tell: If you see someone feeding a cell on a different team significant amounts of mass.

Stickers
Stickers are small cells that try to stick to another player. It is quite annoying to most players.
Advantages: none.
Disadvantages: It is hard to gain mass as the bigger cell gets most of it. And it can cause the large cell to die, and once the large cell dies, they are out of luck.
How to tell: You can find one or more small cells sticking to a larger one.

Boosters
Boosters are cells that split into many pieces and push larger cells into smaller cells on the other team.
Advantages: They help the big cell get lots of mass, and the larger cell, in 99% of all cases, will reward the booster cell.
Disadvantages: They can be eaten by sneaky cells from the other team.
How to tell: A large group of cells pushing against a big cell.

Experimental Mode
Spawner Lurkers
Spawner Lurkers are experimental mode players who spend most of their time circling one or a few spawners.
Advantages: They are quite safe, as they can hide on the opposite side of a spawner if a larger cell comes.
Disadvantages: they can't lurk around once they get to the mid-game (1k+ mass) or else gaining mass will slow down to a crawl.
How to tell: Somebody seems to be circling the spawner over and over again.

Party Mode
Split teamers:
Split teamers are people who team with another cell often splitting many times to get a tiny player or virus.
Advantages: Both cells get mass quickly.
Disadvantages: a skilled player can screw up the team's split run with one good split., and one of the teamers may be "evil" and split for the other.
How To Tell: 2 cells being hyperactive and splitting 3-4 times to kill anything that comes into proximity.

Bots
Feeder Bots
Bots are suicide cells that always feed towards one player to gain sie.
Advantages: The "mother cell" or the bot user gets mass quickly depending on how much Bots he has.
Disadvantages: Considered hacking. May cause the player to get IP banned forever.
How to tell: A large cell getting mass quickly from smaller cells with the same name, and lag occurs.

Suicide Bots
They can also be cells with their own AI. Still, they are extremely simple and sometimes accidentally suicide into another player.
Advantages: Does the work for you.
Disadvantages: Usually not smart enough to avoid players.
How to tell: Cells which seem to be moving towards the nearest pellet and not moving away from players.

Agar.io: Tips & Tricks #5

Agar.io: Tips & Tricks #5

Tips & Tricks #5 on Agar.io
#1 Split during early game!
In the early game, if you feel that the area you are in isn't under much threat, split yourself into multiple cells! As this will increase your rate of travel, along with the speed at which you can collect pellets, and also gives a useful boost to zoom scale, which may help in evading other cells. Doing this early means that you will be able to merge your cells quickly once you encounter an enemy, potentially taking them off guard and being able to consume them yourself. This is best done when you are on a less crowded server or having a bigger cell protecting you.

#2 Know your positioning!
This will become evident as you play, but some positional strategies include. Use your combining action to eat an unaware player. The most dangerous place may sometimes be the safest. Use super-massive players as a shield or loiter as close as possible to viruses, this will make them uninterested in you! Slip between large blobs to avoid getting eaten, when they can't fire at each other. Always think a little further where you want to manoeuvre across players and virus cell. You don't have much reaction time in this game, the last thing you ever want is getting eaten and starting over again.

#3 Think like your enemies!
Everybody loves dots, and I also love dots! Take that into account that you're doing serious planning to devour somebody! They're most likely to follow the path with the most dots and players, and that's how most of us thinks. I'm going to repeat that again, and you are no different from any other players. Just go where you would go, the enemies almost always follow the path with the most dots! Secondly, when you and another player are double-teaming somebody, aim your trajectory so that it seems like the enemy will move into you instead of him. This has won me the prize on many occasions, so outsmart them!

#4 Learn to control the controls!
This one sounds silly, but most players aren't conscious of the slight lag the game puts on the controls. When you move back and forth, you can see it in action. It's only a fraction of a second, but crucial. This slight lag is why you find yourself hurling into the enemy without being able to stop. If you learn to control it, you can predict when that is going to happen and prevent a collision. Also don't flee from other players with the predictable path, try to avoid their anticipated direction by using unpredictable ways of getting the way around. Circling is a good way if you are having short lags, as people might think you are aggressive.

#5 Practice makes perfect!
The ultimate tip anyone can offer someone is practice. The more you play the game, the more experience you'll gain and the better you will become. This advice isn't mutually exclusive to Agar.io either as practicing anything will increase your skill. Reflect on your way of playing, the awareness of your mistakes is the most fundamental step on the way up the ladder. So don't be discouraged if you get eaten a lot when you first start playing because as you progress, you will soon do better. Hope to see you on the leaderboard! :)

Agar.io: Tips & Tricks #4

Agar.io: Tips & Tricks #4

Tips & Tricks #4 on Agar.io
#1 Horizontal and vertical awareness!
A thing that most people overlook is the safety of floating horizontally, you have more vision and reaction time when moving horizontal compared to vertical, this may seem useless, but it's quite useful. An example is if I'm moving upwards and my bigger opponents are moving downwards there's just a split second for me to react, however, if you compare this to moving from horizontally there's a fair amount of extra time for me for to react and move away from my opponents.

#2 Go for multi kills!
Going for multi kills is the best way to go when it comes to profitable Agar.io splits, just wait for multiple cells to line up and strike at the right time to get the most profit from your splits. Splitting yourself multiple times might be useful in some situations. At the back of your mind, keep comparing the size of your opponent's cells is critical, for some things like splitting, trapping and planning your opponent's next moves. Just bear in mind that you'll need at least 10% more mass than your opponent to be able to eat him if you're in one piece, and at least 25% more mass if you are split. You can be greedy but also remember to be safe at the same time.

#3 Don't underestimate any players!
You may think you are great at Agar.io, but not the only agar pro around, it's, therefore, important to not underestimate your opponents, even though you have acquired the skills, your opponents may just be as skilled at Agar.io as you are. Smaller cells can be acting cool towards you, but he is waiting for the moment when you are vulnerable. Likewise, a bigger cell may seem to be protecting you all this while, all he is doing is investing you will grow big and be his food! Anything can happen in Agar.io, trust don't exist here unless you have real life friends playing on the same server as you.

#4 Mass shifting to merge!
Many players seem to overlook this simple tactic for survival which is called Mass Shifting. Mass shifting is a tactic when players start shooting mass towards the middle of their cells to combine quickly and grow one of their cells. It might come in handy and save you in sketchy situations where you need to combine fast, but I wouldn't recommend to use it too much due to some mass loss while shooting (W) blobs. It is probably worth a try when the situation starts to get a little sticky and not in your favor.

#5 Trapping and getting trapped!
It's relatively easy to get trapped in Agar.io, whether you're getting surrounded by large cells, squashed against a wall, or in your best case forced to float into green spikes. You can partly prevent those things from happening by making smart moves, and analyze surrounding around you, so you can prepare yourself for what's going to happen. Trapping one of the greatest tactics which will give you a significant advantage over your opponents. Trapped players will get panic and unsure about their fate, making indecisive moves which you can make used of it.

Agar.io: Tips & Tricks #3

Agar.io: Tips & Tricks #3

Tips & Tricks #3 on Agar.io
#1 Avoid getting eaten!
If somebody is heading right at you for 3 seconds without swerving, expect them to fire. If you're a good player, you should be able just to snipe them without regret. What you can do to avoid getting eaten, is try to make it as awkward as possible for them. They're not going to fire at you when you're at a 30-degree angle, or whatever is hardest. This primarily works when they are doubled. Usually, this works, because most people are noobs with noob aiming mode. Adopt a habit of skittishness in Agar.io. Make it a policy of running from all players on screen.

#2 Don't hesitate to eat!
One of the biggest mistakes people make in Agar.io is hesitating. They wait for the perfect opportunity. A good player can snipe people without hesitation. How? Don't calculate. Remember one rule here: "If it looks like you can, you can. If it looks like you can't, you can't." Keep that rule in focus, and avoid calculations at all costs. As you play more, your ability to calculate will become perfect. Your greatest chance to eat somebody in Agar.io is within the first few milliseconds of the encounter when they're still on a collision course with your character. Remember that rule, and you're golden. Don't be afraid! Practice aiming at low levels to get good at this.

#3 Focus on the enemies!
I tried both strategies, cell eating, and dot eating. However, dots eating is painfully slow in comparison. You're not a gatherer, and you're a hunter! Don't be afraid to take a little loss over a few cells, because doing so will make it, so you're more focused, faster runner, far more difficult to eat. When people see you're not going for the dots, they can't predict your movement! They lose interest very quickly. A stronger player who can eat more people and find better opportunities, then suddenly will appear in the leaderboard. Secondly, go try playing team mode for about an hour. After going through this torture for an hour you'll see that you simply can't focus on the dots, and you have to run from everybody! If you take this mentality to FFA mode, you'll dominate.

#4 Eject a small amount of mass!
Trying to lure an enemy by ejecting some mass into their direction can be a surprisingly effective way of fooling them into getting eaten. This works especially well in Teams Mode when you have your allies as a backup. Only eject a small amount of mass towards a cell significantly smaller than 1/2 your mass. If they come towards you to take it, split to get them. If they don't, eject more mass. If they still don't take it, eject some more mass and split towards them. You will be using your ejected mass as a mass booster for splitting. When you split it, half of your main cell will almost instantly absorb the ejected mass while boosting you forward a significant amount towards the cell you want to eat. Now you can split again to eat that cell.

#5 Mind trick your targets!
One method you can use to catch cells easily is to fake playing passively. Often you'll find smaller cells zooming around your cell or dodging your cells split attack when you telegraph your intent to split towards them. You can trick them by simply going in another direction and as they get near, instantly turn your direction and split towards them. If your aim is accurate, you can catch someone off guard with a very easy split attack as they will not expect or be able to dodge your sudden movement. This trick can work at all levels of mass, but is best executed by cells with a mass less than 1000, due to bigger cells having slower instantaneous movement. Often larger cells cannot dodge cell attacks due to slower movement.
